Yellow Warning - Heat

Heat event continues.

What: Maximum temperatures of 29 to 31 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. Humidex values of 36.

When: Continuing into Wednesday.

Additional Information: The hot conditions continue, however due to the timing of the cold frontal passage the hot and humid air may stay southeast of Pickle Lake Wednesday afternoon.

Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high-risk category.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
