Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Hazards: Wind gusts up to 100 km/h. Up to quarter sized hail. Locally heavy rainfall.
Timing: Late this afternoon and early this evening.
Additional Remarks: A low pressure system near the Nunavut border has brought humid, unstable air to the northern reaches of the province. Scattered thunderstorms are developing around the low as it tracks toward Churchill and the Hudson Bay coast later today.
