Yellow Warning - Wind

Damaging winds are expected.

A passing cold front is causing severe wind gusts of 90 to 100 km/h late this afternoon.

The threat for severe wind gusts will end this evening although moderate to strong winds will persist into Sunday across much of Saskatchewan.

Local utility outages are possible. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
