Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:33 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

The severe thunderstorm located 25 km west of Big Lake Ranch and is moving eastward at 40 km/h.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
