Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 7:04 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

This cluster of thunderstorms is located 60 km south of Grande Prairie and is moving to the north at 50 km/h.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
