At 4:06 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.
The severe thunderstorm is located 20 km to the north of Tumbler Ridge just west of Highway 52 and is moving to the northeast at 30 km/h.
Locations that will be affected include parts of Highway 52 northeast of Tumbler Ridge.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
