Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing heavy rain.

Thunderstorms have formed in the region. These thunderstorms are moving slowly and could bring heavy rainfall in a short period of time.

Nautical activities may be hazardous due to sudden, severe wind gusts over bodies of water.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
