Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 9:01 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This thunderstorm is located near Sicamous and is headed north at 60 km/h. Locations in the path include Highway 1 and Malakwa.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
