Strong winds are expected.

Maximum wind gusts: 100 km/h.

Locations: Northern Peninsula East, Port Saunders and the Straits.

Time span: early Saturday morning to early Saturday evening.

Remarks: Fully leafed trees are more vulnerable to wind damage at this time of year than during the winter season. Be prepared for possible utility outages and consider having basic supplies such as flashlights and batteries on hand.
