Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:02 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

Another severe thunderstorm is located 20 km north of Tumbler Ridge and is heading east at 25 km/h.

Highway 52 north of Tumbler Ridge will be affected.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
