At 2:40 a.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and very heavy rain.
There are two areas of thunderstorms.
The first is located near Primrose Lake. The second is located 50 km southwest of Peter Pond Lake.
These severe thunderstorms are moving toward the northeast at 60 km/h.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
