Yellow Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain is expected.

Where: West Vancouver Island.

When: From Monday morning to Tuesday morning.

Remarks: A robust frontal system currently over the North Coast will gradually move over Vancouver Island on Monday with heavy rain beginning Monday morning. Rainfall amounts of 100 mm are expected. This frontal system will also bring strong and gusty westerly winds on Monday night.

The heavy rain will ease on Tuesday morning.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Local utility outages are possible.
