Red Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 9:14 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an extremely dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing destructive wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Buildings and/or many trees will be destroyed. Large hail will cause significant damage and injury. There is a risk of life-threatening injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
