Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail. There is also a risk of a tornado.

What: Up to 90 km/h wind gusts Quarter to ping pong ball size hail. Risk of a tornado.

When: This evening.

Where: An area across far northern Ontario stretching between Ogoki Post and Moosonee.

Additional information: The majority of these thunderstorms are expected to affect unpopulated areas.
