Yellow Advisory - Frost

Freezing temperatures with frost are expected tonight.

Locations: Deer Lake - Humber Valley, Buchans and the interior, Green Bay - White Bay, Grand Falls and vicinity, Burgeo - Ramea and Connaigre.

Minimum temperatures: zero to +5 (coolest in low-lying areas).

Time span: early Sunday morning.

Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form in the more typically prone low lying areas where winds will diminish to light under a cool airmass and clear skies.

Damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible.

Frost advisories are issued when widespread frost or freezing temperatures are expected during the growing season.
