Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 11:00 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location:

From 25 km (27 km) west of Marcelin to 20 km (20 km) northeast of Denholm

Motion: Moving east at 35 km/h

Hazards:

Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
