Storm surge is expected this afternoon in Tuktoyaktuk.
The highest water levels are expected to reach 105 to 115 cm above highest astronomical tide at 2 PM, and will cause moderate flooding. These conditions can cause damage to infrastructure near the coast, including boats beached or anchored along the shoreline.
