Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 11:47 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

This thunderstorm is 30 kilometres northeast of Warburg and moving to the southwest at 30 km/h.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
