Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorms will continue to move eastward this afternoon and evening, reaching the Saskatchewan border by tonight. Some of these thunderstorms may be severe.

The risk of severe thunderstorms will end by midnight

Large hail can cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
