At 2:32 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Bond Head to Stouffville

Motion: Moving east at 50 km/h

Hazards: Wind: strong (up to 90 km/h) Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm)

Locations in the Path: Ajax, Aurora, Whitby, Oshawa, Newmarket
