Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:18 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

There are 2 severe thunderstorms. One is located 20 km north of Prince George near Highway 97 and another near Three Sisters Park to the east of Highway 97 and are moving to the northeast at 50 km/h.

Locations in the path include: - Highway 97 north of Prince George - Nukko Lake - Salmon Valley - Summit Lake - Purden Lake Park

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
