Daytime highs in the upper 20s to low 30s, and overnight lows in the mid to high teens are expected to continue well into next week for most of the region.
South of Great Slave Lake, afternoon highs may be cooler on some days when winds blow onshore from the lake.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
