Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 2:49 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located between Killam and Irma and is moving northeast at 20 km/h.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
