Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 2:51 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

The cluster is located at 30 km northeast of Carmacks and is moving southwestward at 25 km/h. Sections of Highway 2 and 4 will be impacted.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
