A long duration heat event begins today.
What: Maximum temperatures of 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees Celsius. Humidex values of 37 to 44.
When: Today through Thursday, and possibly into Friday.
Additional Information: Maximum temperatures of 30 to 32 degrees Celsius and humidex values of 37 to 40 are expected today. Heat and humidity will increase further beginning Tuesday with maximum temperatures of 31 to 35 degrees Celsius and humidex values of 40 to 44. Minimum temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees Celsius will provide little relief from the heat.
