Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible.
A surface trough has moved into southeastern Saskatchewan from Montana this afternoon caused severe thunderstorms with the potential for tornadoes. The potential for tornadoes will diminish this later this evening.
