At 7:45 a.m. CDT (8:45 a.m. EDT), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Location: About 30 km southeast of Sioux Lookout

Motion: Moving quickly to the southeast at 65 km/h

Hazards: Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm)

Locations in the Path: Sturgeon Lake Mattawa Lake

A second severe thunderstorm is located:Location: About 25 km east of Ignace

Motion: Moving east at 60 km/h

Hazards: Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm)
