Prolonged periods of moderate to heavy rain are expected.

Where: South of Hwy 20 from Riske Creek to Tatlayoko Lake.
Additional information: Rain will continue to spreads into the Chilcotin and slowly shift southward this tonight. Rain will continue mainly over southern sections of the Chilcotin on Friday and ease Friday night.
Total rainfall amounts near 40 to 60 mm can be expected south of Hwy 20 with locally higher rainfall amounts possible near the Coast Mountains. Elsewhere, 10 to 20 mm of rain is expected.
Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Some travel delays are possible. Watch for washouts near rivers, creeks, and culverts. Increased risk of landslides in vulnerable areas such as steep slopes, deforested areas or recent burn scars.
