Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 4:14 p.m. ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

A strong thunderstorm has developed over the Northumberland Strait, and it moving towards the southeast at 60 km/h.

Locations impacted include: Summerside, Union Corner Provincial Park, St. Nicholas, Linkletter Provincial Park, Chelton Provincial Park, Bedeque, Central Bedeque, Kinkora, Crapaud, Victoria, Victoria Provincial Park, Cap-Egmont, Mont-Carmel, St-Raphaël, and Fernwood.

Hazards: - 90 km/h wind gusts. - Dime sized hail. - Torrential rainfall.
