Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.

Thunderstorms maybe approach from the west later this evening.

What: Wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Hail size up to loonie.

When: Late this evening or near midnight.

Local utility outages are possible.

Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
