Special Weather Statement In Effect

As of Thursday evening rain is now spreading into southeastern Saskatchewan, and will move into portions of western Manitoba later this evening. The rain will continue through Friday before tapering off.

A rainfall warning has been issued for areas expected to receive the most precipitation, with 50-70 mm expected in those areas.

Lessor amounts (20-50 mm) are expected in areas covered by this Special Weather Statement around the area of heaviest rainfall covered by the Rainfall Warning.
