At 9:57 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.
The thunderstorms are from Legal to Edmonton. They are moving to the east at 45 km/h.

Significant damage to buildings and/or trees is likely. Heavy rain will likely cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.
Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
