At 7:16 p.m. PDT (7:16 p.m. MST), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.
The line of severe thunderstorms is located from 60 km to 160 km southeast of Watson Lake and is moving northeast at 25 km/h. Sections of Highway 97 are being impacted.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
