Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 1:02 a.m. CDT (1:02 a.m. EST), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: 15 km (15 km) northwest of Otukamamoan Lake to 25 km (26 km) southwest of Mine Centre

Motion: Moving northeast at 50 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
