These severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing all hazards with large hail, heavy rain and strong wind gusts being the most common hazard. Tornadoes will also be a strong possibility with the threat increasing towards the early evening hours.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop over North Dakota this afternoon and move into southern Manitoba late this afternoon / early this evening. Thunderstorms will grow in coverage as the evening progresses, with the primary hazards shifting towards heavy rainfall and severe wind gusts.
