Squall Warning In Effect

Squalls with wind gusts up to 35 knots, frequent lightning, hail of 2 to 4 centimetres and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times are expected or occurring in the area.

Thunderstorms over eastern Lake Superior will move across Whitefish Bay near midnight.

Poor to very poor visibility may contribute to voyage delays and make marine navigation hazardous. Large hail can damage vessels and cause injury.
