Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 1:23 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This line of thunderstorms is located from Keephills to Thorsby and is moving northeast at 50 km/h.

Some travel delays are likely. Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Local utility outages are likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
