At 8:13 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Gananoque to Merrickville.

Motion: Moving quickly to the east at 65 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (Up to 110 km/h) Rain: heavy (Up to 40 mm)

Locations in the Path: Athens, Prescott, Lyn, Brockville

Utility outages are likely. Significant damage to buildings and/or trees is likely. There is a risk of serious injury.
