Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Slow moving thunderstorms will continue to develop along the Foothills this afternoon and evening. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe producing very heavy rain, up to quarter sized hail and gusty winds.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
