Yellow Warning - Storm Surge

Storm surge is expected overnight and Saturday afternoon at Herschel Island.

Water levels are expected to reach 10 to 20 cm above highest astronomical tide overnight tonight and may cause minor to moderate flooding.

Water levels are expected to reach 20 to 30 cm above highest astronomical tide Saturday afternoon and may cause moderate flooding.

These conditions can cause damage to infrastructure near the coast, including boats beached or anchored along the shoreline.
