Orange Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:16 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

An area of rotation is located in forest areas, approximately 30 kilometres east of Deep River. There is a risk of tornado in this area.

Significant damage to buildings and/or trees is likely. There is a risk of serious injury.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
