Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:27 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very heavy rain.

This thunderstorm is located 20 km northwest of Bragg Creek, just south of the Trans Canada Highway and is nearly stationary.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
