Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:06 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

The severe thunderstorm is located 10 km to the west of Dawson Creek near Highway 97 and is heading to the north at 30 km/h.

These locations will be affected: - Arras - Bessborough - Farmington

Driving conditions will likely be difficult.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
