At 12:25 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Near St. Ignace Harbour

Motion: Moving southeast at 55 km/h

Hazards: Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm)

Rain: very heavy (50 - 100 mm)

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.
