At 9:25 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: About 35 km west of Tidewater Provincial Park

Motion: Moving southeast at 55 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)
