Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 3:26 a.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: 20 km (21 km) northwest of Pilot Butte 45 km (46 km) southeast of Semans 20 km (21 km) southeast of Quill Lake

Motion: Moving east at 45 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)

Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
