Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Over the next few hours, conditions will be favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing hail and heavy rain.

A band of thunderstorms has already brought significant amounts of rain to the Vaudreuil and Île Perrot area. Future thunderstorms could cause local flooding.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
