Orange Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain is expected this weekend, with total amounts of 70 to 100 mm.

Rain will begin early this morning and continue through Sunday, before tapering off Sunday night.

Isolated thunderstorms are also possible throughout this event and will locally enhance rainfall amounts.

Given already saturated ground conditions due to the well above normal rainfall this month, the ability to absorb additional rainfall will be limited, increasing the risk of overland flooding and impact to infrastructure.

Localized flooding is likely. Some roads may become impassable. Significant property damage is likely.
