At 4:27 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.
The severe thunderstorm is located 20 km to the west of One Island Lake Park just east of Highway 52 (north of Tumbler Ridge) and is moving to the east at 30 km/h.
Locations that will be affected include One Island Lake Park and parts of Heritage Highway 52.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
