Yellow Warning - Heat

Hot and humid weather continues.

Locations: western Nova Scotia and Halifax county.

Time span: persisting into Monday for some regions.

Minimum temperatures tonight: near 19 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature Monday: 27 to 30 degrees Celsius (Humidex near 33 to 37).

Remarks: A hot and humid air mass will continue to bring a period of high daytime temperatures and elevated Humidex values. Nighttime lows are also forecast to stay warm, providing little to no relief.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
